Of late, the app has been giving problem for some users. I'll do that, but it would be great if the app worked as it's supposed to lol.

When you attach your Phone, look for your Phone under This PC > Click to locate DCIM folder > Open DCIM folder > Select required picture > CTRL+C to copy > Go to the target folder and You can use File Explorer to transfer photos from Phone to Windows. And the same happens, it gets stuck on finding new media to import, I can't even get in the part where it let's me select which media I've done what you said, it went all as it should, then restarted and once again tried to import the media from my phone.

Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Restart your computer This will reinstall all default Store apps, hence if you have uninstalled any default Store app, that will get reinstalled) Re-register All Store apps (You will get many Reds, ignore them. The difference on the laptop is that Amazon Photos was already installed and running, whereas the other two machines are new builds and therefore fresh installs of Amazon Photos. I've just checked the laptop and its on the same version & build. I've search on Google, but no issues reported so I'm assuming its something I've done wrong.Д«oth of my machines that don't work are on the latest V 20H2 Build 19042.685. Has something changed recently with the desktop app and Windows 10.?ДЄny help to get it working would be appreciated.

My Windows 10 laptop that has been running Amazon Photos for some time is still fine and working. I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling several times and also tried on another PC. It installs, but then doesn't do anything - I get an icon in the system tray but it just shows 'About' or 'Exit' it wont launch the app. Today, I needed to reinstall it on my Windows 10 desktop. I have been using Amazon Photos for a few years, all fine. Apologies if this is the wrong section of the forum, but its the best I could find.
